Our September stakeholder breakfast will host both Damien McCallion,  Chief Technology and Transformation Officer and Deputy CEO of the HSE alongside Sandra Broderick, Regional Executive Officer of the HSE Mid West.  Sandra will also incorporate a conversation with John Wall, Patient Advocate into her presentation.

Together they will give an update on the HSE’s ongoing transformation and the challenges they are facing.

Topics include:

  • The rollout and development of the new health regions and impact of the REOs
  • Impact of budget on HSE
  • EHR plans
  • Rollout of the new patient app and the plans to extend it’s functionality
  • Patient waiting times & how this is being addressed
  • Short to medium plans for HSE

There will also be an opportunity to pose questions.   This breakfast provides an excellent opportunity to meet senior stakeholders in our industry in an informal setting and hear first-hand the current situation and future plans for our health service as well as meeting with industry colleagues.

Speakers:

Damien McCallion, Chief Technology and Transformation Officer and Deputy CEO – HSE

Damien is the HSE’s Chief Technology and Transformation Officer with responsibility for technology, information security, data governance and digital development.
