Markus Gores, Vice President, EMEA Thought Leadership – IQVIA
Markus has over 25 years of experience in life sciences, advising clients in all major geographies on a broad range of topics, including real world evidence strategy, launch readiness, go-to-market models, brand and commercial strategies, and building enabling organisational capabilities. He’s a frequent speaker on the latest industry trends and regularly engages with senior leadership teams of pharmaceutical companies.
Prior to his current role in Thought Leadership, he has held leadership positions within IQVIA Real World Solutions and QuintilesIMS Consulting Services (formerly the IMS Consulting Group). Before joining IMS, Markus spent six years with McKinsey & Company, Inc., in London, New York and Frankfurt, serving pharmaceutical and biotech companies. He started his career as a project manager in R&D with Hoechst/Aventis. Markus holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Hanover and has completed post-doctoral research at the University of California.
Linda Maher, Country Head – Boehringer Ingelheim
Linda is the Human Pharma Country Head for Ireland at Boehringer Ingelheim, leading the transformation of the Human Pharma business in a rapidly shifting healthcare landscape. A senior UK & Ireland leader with a strong track record of delivering sustainable growth and high‑performing teams, she is committed to shaping a resilient, future‑fit organisation that has a positive impact on the Irish healthcare system and the patients it serves. Linda champions leadership development and an empowering culture. A former captain of the Irish Ladies Hockey Team, she applies the discipline and focus of elite sport to leading through disruption and driving meaningful progress.

David McRedmond, Chief Executive Officer – An Post
David was appointed Chief Executive Officer of An Post in October 2016. He has led the Company’s Transformation programme and return to financial stability, sustainable revenue growth and profit by taking big steps to fix the Company’s economics and by restructuring the Commerce and Retail businesses in line with a rapidly changing, digital marketplace. David is personally driving An Post’s Green Light 2028 Strategy and Sustainability Charter, putting it at the centre of An Post’s business transformation.
A native of Dublin, David holds a Masters degree in Modern Irish History from UCD. He completed the Top Management Programme at the Cabinet Office, UK and the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD. He is a lifetime Fellow of the Irish Management Institute and of the Royal Society of Arts.

Cathal Friel, Chairman – Poolbeg Pharma
Cathal is a seasoned serial entrepreneur with a long and successful history and to date has listed five companies on the London Stock Exchange. Cathal is Managing Director of Raglan Capital and serves as Chairman and co-founder of both Poolbeg Pharma plc and European Green Transition plc. Poolbeg was established as a spin-off from hVIVO plc (formerly Open Orphan plc) in 2021, a company which Cathal also co-founded and served as Chairman until June 2025. Prior to this, Cathal co-founded Amryt Pharma plc which listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2016 and dual listed on Nasdaq in 2020 and was later sold to Chiesi Farmaceutici for $1.48bn in April 2023. Prior to that, he was co-founder and Chairman of Fastnet Oil & Gas plc, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2012.
Prof Raj Thakur, Founder and Chief Technology Officer – Re-Vana Therapeutics
Raj is an internationally recognised expert in drug delivery and pharmaceutics, with over 20+ years of R&D experience. He currently serves as Chair in Pharmaceutics at the School of Pharmacy, Queen’s University Belfast, UK. In addition, Raj is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Re-Vana Therapeutics, a Queen’s University spinout company pioneering long-acting ocular drug delivery technologies. Under his scientific leadership, Re-Vana has raised significant Seed, pre-Series A and Series A funding and recently entered a landmark strategic collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim valued at over $1 billion in potential milestones, to co-develop sustained-release therapies targeting chronic retinal diseases. He holds a PhD in Drug Delivery, an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.

Agron Hasani, Country Head of Medical Affairs & Chief Medical Officer – Novartis
Agron qualified as a physician in Rijeka, Croatia and shortly after that moved to Ireland. He has been with Novartis Ireland for 17 years and his experience ranges from Medical Information, PV, Clinical Trials and Risk Management. For the past 12 years he has been involved in Medical Affairs firstly as a Medical Advisor covering Infectious Disease, Respiratory and Cardiology. He was appointed as Medical Director in December 2021 and his current role is Head of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer.

Aoife Callan, Head of Market Access and External Affairs – Takeda
Aoife joined Takeda in 2019 and is responsible for leading the market access team and external affairs activities. Throughout her career, Aoife has been involved in developing and executing integrated HE&OR and market access activities in a range of therapeutic areas.
Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry, Aoife worked as a post-doctoral researcher in health economics. Aoife has a Ph.D. in Health Economics, a Masters in Economics, Policy and Planning and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Galway.
Natasha Creenan, Country Manager – Coloplast
Natasha brings over 20 years of experience leading Sales, Marketing and Operations functions in MedTech and Pharmaceutical organisations. She is passionate about building a positive culture, placing a high value on employee engagement, talent development and high-performance principles. Her drive to understand people’s motivations & behaviours led her to complete a Hons Degree in Human Resource Management.
She also has a passion for mentoring and Diversity & Inclusion, leading many Women in Leadership and Mentoring initiatives.
